Sleepr (b. 1988) is an ultracontemporary anonymous artist whose work pushes innovation and risk at the intersection of traditional artistry and blockchain technology, and has made significant waves over the past few years in both the traditional and emerging art markets.

Artistic practice

Based in Australia, Sleepr’s central practice is documenting the aesthetics of vision caused by magic plants. His plant of choice is one he has worked with for the past 20 years and cultivated a profound connection with, the Acacia, a native Australian plant rich in tryptamines, including N, N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT).

Formal academic study and research

Sleepr is a prestigious senior academic, and studied a PhD for multiple years on the same topic as his artistic practice, titled: New methodologies to document complex visual hallucinations caused by DMT. He discontinued the formal study, and instead opted to move underground where he integrates artistic intuition with scientific exploration. His research is focused on the belief that artists are uniquely capable of capturing and interpreting complex visual data that eludes conventional scientific techniques.

London solo exhibition

In May 2024, Sleepr debuted his solo exhibition Secrets in Soho, London, where his work received critical acclaim and positive public review.

Major art sales: Over 100 works

Over the past three years, he has sold over 100 original digital works, building a diverse and dedicated collector base that values the depth of his art and his unique story being told.

Sleepr Research Center

Sleepr’s work exemplifies the potential of art to explore and document the unseen, merging ancient practices with modern scientific inquiry to offer new and innovative insights into the hidden dimensions of reality.

His hope is to fund and build a research center to continue the documentation of hyperspace, so that the artworks produced can be formally studied for exotic geometric properties and principles, useful in a wide range of traditional scientific fields.
